AI advisory and solutions architecture

Your personal AI advisor.

Companies pulling ahead aren’t collecting AI tools. They’re building thoughtful systems around them. I help you choose the right tools, align them with your processes, and put them to work across your teams.

About me

Hey, I’m Robert.

I first used GPT-3 in 2020 and got hands-on with GitHub Copilot soon after. That early experience convinced me that software work—and the systems around it—were about to change.

Since then, I’ve worked through the shift from AI assistants to agentic tools such as Cursor and Claude Code. I help organizations apply them in real workflows, rather than treating them as isolated experiments.

Today, I help leadership and technical teams find where AI can create leverage, design the systems around it, and carry the work through implementation.

My background spans product, technical, and business teams and I've co-founded multiple companies. I’m comfortable engaging with business and technical leaders alike.

Work with me

A clear path from first conversation to real progress.

01

Discovery call

We start with a focused 30-minute call. You tell me about your business and team; together, we explore where AI could help and whether we are the right fit to work together.

02

AI roadmap

I go deeper to understand where your business stands with AI today. Through conversations with you and your team, we build a clear, prioritized roadmap for the right tools, processes, and people.

03

Ongoing advisory

I stay on board as a direct thought partner as you put the work into practice—supporting decisions, technical direction, and momentum. We speak regularly, and I help you make sense of the AI developments that matter to your business.

Project support

Fractional technical leadership

For initiatives that need hands-on technical ownership, I can join your team as a fractional CTO—setting direction, making key decisions, and keeping delivery on track.

Implementation partner

For scoped AI projects, I can work as a solutions architect and forward-deployed engineer, or help you choose the right partner to build alongside your team.

Team enablement

I run workshops and sessions that teach your teams how to leverage agentic tools—such as Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT Work, and Claude — effectively across functions.

I’d been using ChatGPT extensively, but Robert helped me take it much further. In a few weeks, I went from asking questions in a chat window to confidently building, shipping, and improving software, with AI at the core of my process.

Questions

A few practical details.

What does a first engagement look like?

We begin with a focused discovery call, then decide whether a deeper AI roadmap is the right next step for your business.

Do you only advise, or do you also help implement?

Both. I can stay close as an advisor, take hands-on technical ownership for a scoped project, or help you find the right implementation partner.

What does a typical ongoing advisory look like?

We talk weekly or every two weeks to review progress against the roadmap, work through decisions, and keep momentum. Between calls, I share relevant AI news and developments, filtered for your business and the landscape you operate in.

What is the typical price point for an ongoing advisory?

I typically work on a monthly retainer, ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 per month depending on the scope and level of involvement.

Who do you work with?

I work with leadership and technical teams that want to turn AI from a collection of tools into thoughtful, useful systems.

What kinds of AI work do you support?

The work ranges from setting direction and prioritising opportunities to designing workflows, selecting tools, and building the systems that make them useful.
